I apologize for the delay in ImPACT baseline test emails.  Due to the email being generated by ImPACT, they are being blocked when sent to the student.  Ms Phillips, BHS Athletic Trainer with ATI is generating new unique codes and links.  Ms Phillips will use the email account that was used to register the student, unless that account is a student email address.  In this case, Ms Phillips will use the email account in the parent/guardian sections.  Please be on the lookout for this email by 5PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.  These emails sometimes go to spam/junk.  I appreciate you patience.

We are excited to begin the 2020 Fall 1 Athletic season on September 18, 2020

Please see the Coaches "check in" section after practice/tryout times for required equipment for the 2020 Fall 1 Athletic season.

  • FamilyID will open on Saturday, September 12, 2020 for Fall 1 sports registration at (copy and paste into browser).  Anyone wishing to tryout for a fall sport MUST register online before Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 12PM.  Registration will close on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 12PM.  It is mandatory that the registration be completed by a parent or guardian, and that care is taken when registering that full names are used and accurate information submitted.  Thank you for cooperation.  
  • ImPact Testing will be online and a link to the test and unique code will be provided after you complete the FamilyID registration.  
    • Please click on the "Concussion/Impact Testing" link during registration.  Impact testing is required for all 9th and 11th grade students and all new students.
  • Picture Day is TBD (more information/order forms to come from coaches).
  • Coaches meetings are Monday, September 14, 2020 at 5-6:30PM (virtual).  Coaches training will be on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 5-6:30 and will start at BHS then to sport specific facilities.
  • Coaches CPR/AED training is TBD 
  • Mandatory virtual student athlete and parent meeting is Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 7:15PM-8:15PM for Soccer and Field Hockey, and Thursday, September 17 from 7:15PM-8:15PM for Golf, Cross Country, and Volleyball.  A link to the meeting will be sent after registration on FamilyID is closed.
  • Games, meets, matches and practices may take place on Saturdays and Sundays, thank you for your understanding.
  • Parent and student athlete meeting TBD the week of September 21st (this is the traditional pre-season meeting).
  • Google classroom will be utilized for all communication including but not limited to practice schedules, announcements, assignments, and general information.  Classrooms will be sport and level specific.

9/18 - Golf will practice at Cold Spring Country Club time TBD (please be prepared for 3PM) and 9/19 4PM 

9/18 - Field Hockey, Boys' and Girls' Soccer will practice at Belchertown High School (specific field will be assigned weekly) times will be either 3-4:20 or 4:40-6:00 and 9/19 morning time TBD

9/18 - Volleyball will practice at Belchertown High School in the Gymnasium times will be either 3-4:20 or 4:40-6:00 and 9/19 morning time TBD

9/18 - Boys' Cross Country will be a googe meet and 9/19-9/20 off

9/18 - Girls' Cross Country will be at Foley Field 3-5/5:30 and 9/19-9/20 off 

Schedules are subject to change due to weather and field availability due to field conditions.

Student athlete attended all remote/hybrid classes

Student athlete is academically eligible to participate

Student athlete is medically cleared to participate

Student athlete, with parent or guardian completed the daily COVID-19 symptom check Student athlete is wearing all required safety equipment specific to that sport

Student athlete is wearing the appropriate mask, not vented. Gaiters are not permitted at some school districts so we will require all students to have a non vented mask.

Student athlete is wearing appropriate shoes/cleats Student athlete is wearing the appropriate practice, game, meet, match gear/uniform

Student athlete has their practice/game pinnie. The pinnie will be provided to you by the school on September 22, 2020 (pinnie will be returned with equipment at the conclusion of the season). Field Hockey, Soccer, and Volleyball - please wear a light colored shirt and bring a dark shirt for the first three days of practice/tryouts.

Student athlete has a soccer, field hockey, volleyball, golfballs (12), and that the ball must be NFHS certified (soccer, field hockey, volleyball)

Student athlete has a full water bottle

Student athlete has a small cone. The small cone will be provided to you by the school on September 22, 2020 (small cone will be returned with equipment at the conclusion of the season). Please use your bag for the first three days of practice/tryouts.

Student athlete has a ziploc or clear bag containing the following: hand sanitizer and band aids, and a container of wipes to clean their equipment before returning it to their bag.

  • Please practice good sportsmanship when attending one of our games, home or away.
  • The Athletic Department implemented a tiered system for athletic fees in 2017. Please check the cost of each sport on the list below.
  • All checks for athletic fees are to be made payable to "TOWN OF BELCHERTOWN".  Please give your payment to the main office c/o the Athletic Director, or mail to Belchertown High School c/o Athletic Director, 142 Springfield Road, Belchertown, MA 01007.  Athletic fee must be received prior to the start of the season - September 14, 2020 for 2020 Fall .
